Just finished this, it was an unwanted comission job, and although really out of scale I thought I would share. Monogram edition of this age old 1/8th scale kit, more flash than you could shake a stick at and a couple of pieces missing to boot .


Not an enjoyable experience I'm afraid and it probably shows

Ahhh takes me back, I had the whole Universal horror collection of these many years ago, I still have them somewhere in the loft.

When you mentioned it the other day, I didn't think about it being the same one.

Nice choice of colours and the Cobra looks good too.

NOOO!!! The flashbacks!

It's all coming back to me now - I can remember putting together that one and the Frankenstain monster some 20 years ago, filling gaps with pva(!), painting the things with enamel paints and weathering/highlighting them - oh yes - with blackboard chalks and watercolours!

i had those and they were pretty poor too.
