A few games of Wasteland Warriors
« on: 30 September 2019, 02:24:09 PM »
I ran 3 games of Fistful of Lead: Wasteland Warriors at local convention, RECRUITS this weekend. Great fun, all with different outcomes.

Battle reports, or more pictures, somewhere?

I'd like to get a better look at that giant hand terrain.

My kids played in a couple of the Fistful of Lead games at Recruits and had a great time. Very well done.

Commander, glad to hear.

I browsed and browsed, but didn't spot any "making of the giant hand" posts. Did I miss it? I found lots of fun things, so it wasn't a total loss, but I was most interested in the hand.

Directions to its location would be much appreciated.

Giant hand is a stand (X Men Sentinal) for an action figure purchased a decade ago. Already painted. Just glued to a base and textured.
Have a chest and a leg too, to do.

I finally got a chance to read the rules after picking them up at Recruits. Lots of cool options and detail. My boys and I are having fun creating our teams. We also had to watch a few episodes of Thundarr for inspiration.

A question (as I hover over the 'Buy' button for the PDF: does Wasteland Warriors add a lot that's not in Galactic Heroes (which we've been playing for the past couple of weeks and absolutely loving)?

It adds loads of mutations and stuff on factions. You could easily merge them or use them separately. Personally I don't think you can go far wrong with the pdf. I have it but I also want the book, just because! 😂
