A pic of painted haystacks…love these.

And a group shot of the Kindred.  A little pissed as someone has cut down their forest!

Great painting on some lovely figures. The diorama is also very nicely done - just needs a backdrop of some sort to complete the effect.

Open to suggestions.  Does anyone have a source for 4 feet of woodland backdrop?

David, Dave (of Bedworth) took a picture of some local scenery & got a poster shop
to enlarge it. It now provides a very nice backdrop to his table. Just a thought.
failing that have a look at Model Railways & their backgrounds. Bound to be some tree ones.

Cheers.   Yes the Kindred are guardians of the forest so I suppose the colour pallet is pre ordained.   Plus I wanted a “Robin Hood” vibe.

Thanks all.

It was the very first Disney film I was taken to as a kid ( I rember the cinema in Canterbury) so it must have struck a chord!

So I have a small demo game to put on this weekend.

The third warband is complete with its leader, Horace the Hare.

Horace is the twisted and vindictive brother of Hartley, Captain of my Royalist patrol.

Jealous of his more famous and courageous sibling, whatever exploits Hartley and his followers are lauded for, Horace is always keen to upstage them in a more violent and shocking manner.

When Hartley lost his eye fighting to defend Clapham pass, Horace was so outraged at the the thought of this heaping yet more praise on his oh so brilliant brother, that he gouged out his own eye with a dinner fork just to show his dining companions that it was a mere trifle!  However he now he now resents Hartley even more for having forced his hand…
