Beautifully done and the basing really sets them off.  This is a period I have been promising myself to do for 40 years, never lost the fascination for the War and it's many characters. Do you have more or is this the beginning?

Cheers buddy

Like you, I have put off doing the period for a number of decades, but I thought the time was finally right to take a major dive into the Crimea.

Loads of units to follow.

Superb! I am so tempted to finally do this. I'd go with Warlord plastics as my main focus is 40mm Napoleonics and I would need to keep the costs down. Your images remind me that the Crimean uniforms are sufficiently different from Napoleonic uniforms to present a fresh challenge. Please keep the pictures coming :)

Brilliant, I really dont need any temptation at all right now but please keep thepictures coming.

I have to wonder if the Studio Miniatures Flashman with a pepperpot pistol would make a good character for this collection? I have him in my Sikh Wars collection and the Uniform would fit for Crimea, lovely figure.

Lovely figures. The basing is great too. Can I ask what colours/techniques you've used on the bases?

Another inspiring project Raglan but I have always wondered about gaming the Crimea - how do you reconcile the remarkably small size of units like for example the Light Brigade - maybe only 30-odd figures at usual wargaming ratios - the individual regiments always look so small on the table.
