Verrry nice, ditto detail on the shield backs.

Auxillia are on my shopping list, and I'll be replacing the plastic spears. I  just completed a half century of thier EIR and managed to break a couple of pila (admittedly thinner than those spears ) ranking them up - sausage fingers dont help, but over time...

For the Gauls (British opponents) I went with the Warlord steel spears here cut down for for javelins, and the slightly thicker North Star ones, here, for spears. Both are 50mm long and work well with 28's. Only thing you might not like is the very industrialised uniform spear points everyone ends up with.

There has been progress, another 8 figures. I'm going to do 24 of these, a group of 8 skirmishers and about a dozen cavalry along with various 'big men' to lead them

I'm affraid to see plastic spears pointed in front of the figurines.
Does are they strong enough for not been broken when playing ?

Lots of mine are broken (LOTR GW plastic) after a few battles...

Last figures of 2019, another 8 Auxilia taking the unit to 24.
About 230 28mm figures this year which is good for a slow painter like me.
I also built and painted various bits of terrain so all is well.
