Daftest Africa - Another giraffe
« on: November 27, 2019, 07:15:41 PM »

.....or should I say, my Lost World foray into Pulp / adventure gaming.  Slow burner, but this is where I shall be putting up my attempts at capturing the feeling of a proper mad cap expedition into uncharted territory.  Expect lots of scenery....plenty of animals, both contemporary and prehistoric......heroes, explorers and their adversaries.....wacky transportation and anything else that takes my fancy!

I have not finalised any rules....I may even write my own yet if I don’t find what I want.

Big influences, films such as “She”, “20,000 leagues under the sea”, “Journey to the centre of the earth”, “Carry on Up the Jungle” etc.

That's one nice display!

I have been building trees for my Nam project as I said above, but I thought I’d share this one here.  Many tropical trees have buttress roots, helping to make them more stable in areas of poor or thin soil.  I used to live in tropical west Africa and I remember there being lots of trees like this.

Just wow.  Very impressive tree.  Watching this thread.

Love that tree, fits right in with ones I'm planning on - especially the lianas vines (or whatever they're called).  Actually found a great little product, a one off though, to use - and it spawned the idea of soaking thread in glue and dipping in fine flocking to get more.

And that tree is perfect for Pulp, too, since you have to have those vines if a certain gentleman is going to take a proper swing through the verdure.   lol
