Another one to accidentally find the thread, my goodness but that archaeological dig is astonishing.

I really like the tent too, lovely work.

Thanks chaps….glad you like the project!

Ok, these were sitting half done on my tray, so thought I’d just finish them.   They look better from a distance! lol

My son just moved back in with us for a few months so thought I’d re look at the Congo rules seeing as I never actually got to play them!   Expect a few more models over the next few weeks and perhaps a couple of battle reports.

I also want to finish off the archeology dig site with a few painted trinkets too….

Here kitty, kitty, kitty.   :o

When in a game, they will look just grand and fulfill their role.  A painted figure is a game enhanced, an unpainted figure a sore sight to all our eyes - though latent with potential.  Hmm, I have Vast Reserves of potential then!  lol :D

Nice to see something new in this thread.  One of my favorites, both of Digits and on LAF as a whole.

(I think your butterfly affliction is contagious, I've spent so much time on your threads I got infected myself - while supposed to be working on French Foreign Legion I've been pulled to Three Musketeers, Robin Hood, and Jousting - and a minor flirtation with Pulp.  Alas, I'm not sure a cure is available or even far off in the offing.  Oh, woe is 'not' me.  Having too much fun.  ;))

Ha…yup an affliction that has us all stumped!

Yup so I want to have a game soon with lots of background.   As such I realise there are no village civilians painted as yet….so that will be my focus….

That dig site is really well done.  I’m going to have to and do something similar.

Go for it.    There are also lots of other awesome dig sites on this forum worth checking out too.

Looking at it, I still need to paint the trinkets as previously mentioned.   But I also need a set of other tents for the rest of the dig team….and maybe an alternate entrance to the lower depths of the tomb….hmm…..

Still, some stuff for Congo first!

"...so that will be my focus…."

Should this be an alarming statement?  Digits is about to 'focus'?  Will all those other threads be - temporarily - abandoned?  Or will the butterfly, once again, win the 'race'?  Stay tuned for further...well, furtherance.  lol :o ;)

Hmmm….well butterfly struck again last night…..started putting paint to villagers…ended up knocking up a packing crate and adding a little bling to the archaeologists camp.

Very nice indeed, and I suspect soon to be the focus of rival archaeologists, cultists, mad scientists, and all manner of eldritch energy.
