Pictures which don't show on Firefox

Hi,

It's not only on this forum probably but it's here I find it most annoying.

Some pictures don't appear on my Firefox browser (perfectly update I think) and display an empty field and the symbol of a broken link instead.
Although they do appear when I use Chrome.

For example in this thread:

Using the tool feature of Firefox I've been able to see that the address of these pictures ends by
?format=jpg&name=4096x4096

...and when I copy/paste their address to my Firefox address bar and replace this last bit by a more normal .jpg I can see the pictures perfectly well...

Why are such pictures loaded with a strange name at the end?

I sometimes suffer that too, but in the link you posted I can see all the images.
