Dystopian Legions
« on: 11 December 2019, 12:51:46 PM »
Hi.
Thought I would try on the off chance. I have a box of the two player starter set Iron Scorpion which I have had for a long time and done nothing about.  Finally decided to move forward with this so I opened the box up snd found there is an MDF building to construct, unfortunately with no instructions or pictures.
If anybody has any pictures or instructions for this I would really appreciate it, as I know Spartan Games no longer exist.
I did try Warcradle’s site but there was no info on there.

GW rips it off and releases it as their own?

Warcradle is an alter ego of Wayland Games. Contacting them goes direct to Wayland customer services.

That's Dystopian Wars...same universe, totally different scale.  Unfortunately Dystopian Legions bit the dust almost immediately after that starter set was released.  They just couldn't produce any new stuff with all of the other systems that they were producing...then they had a Kickstarter for new Dystopian Wars miniatures, went bust and a couple of thousand backers lost around £200 each.  :'( >:D >:D

I'd have to double check, but the figures were/are at least 32mm, possibly even 36mm tall. That said, most of the vehicles should work nicely with 28mm, too, and I still have one of the Japanese sphere tanks awaiting painting...
