My contribution to the thirteenth Lead Painters League, 2019.
Over time I’ve added each week’s entry, plus details of the minis used, to my ‘Whitechapel Horror!’ thread, which is here:
https://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=107054.0Bit of background: I didn’t contemplate joining the LPL until 3rd September with the first 3 teams due in on the 27th. I decided to use the LPL to progress my Victorian Gothic Horror project, for which I had a single assembled but unpainted terrain piece and a big lead pile, almost all of which still needed prepping and in many cases converting. I did have 8 minis painted, but as they had already been published I wasn’t going to submit them as a team.
Anyways, here’s the lot en masse. Everything was painted sometime from 2/9 onwards, apart from the 8 minis with the terrain bits inside the yard. By round 10 I had painted 59 minis, including the three ‘vehicles’, plus the terrain, though not everything made it into a league entry.
And for good order, here’s each entry ...
Round 1 “Home after a fangtastic night”
Round 2 “Goodness me, so much bosom!”
Round 3 “Pistols before dawn”
Round 4 “Vampire cops it in Lehman Street”
Round 5 “Northern Soul(less) Dance Night”
Round 6 “East End Boys No West End Girl”
Round 7 “Divine Intervention”
Round 8 “Black Friday unleashes vampire crowds”
Round 9 “Whitechapel Slum Tour”
Round 10 “Pinkertons come to London Town”
Finally, hope you enjoyed my entries, many thanks to those that organised, the voters and of course my fellow players.
