Some Dusty Figures From My Desk
« on: December 28, 2019, 09:42:27 AM »
I recently decided to paint up a bunch of Napoleonic I found stashed in a bag. Painting thes inspired me to brush the dust (literally) off some figures that had been sitting on my desk for the past few years. They were feeling unloved and despondent but now they're looking good and they've inspired me to go further with them.

More pics and more background about the figures on my blog at: https://this28mmlife.blogspot.com/2019/12/the-carrion-are-gathering.html

Below is a link to my blog. It's the place where I write uninteresting things about little toy soldiers. I do this because I refuse to grow up and behave like an adult.

Superb paint job, so vibrant! But there is something that I find really unsettling about these, they really creep me out!

wonderful figures and painting!

enjoyed that series of books - although the humour (Beatles as gods etc) went over my head at the time ...

Nice work - and good choice of pink for the heads, really pops.

Really well painted, and some really strange, but highly characterful figures.

What else have you got gathering dust?
