Genuine, but very un-pc, question...

Anybody do a Third Reich deck of playing cards, preferably with a nazi eagle/swazzy on the back!!!???
I'm guessing this could all go wrong pretty quick, but it's a genuine quest. We're playing WW2
'one hour skirmish'
games which is 100% card driven, no dice. For the goodies I've got these...
The best I can find for the baddies is an old German Imperial Eagle deck, not quite wot we wanted. I was pondering whether there might be German WW2 period playing cards, if only for the WW2 Jerry re-enactors to play with?

Harry, have a look at the link below. There are an amazing selection of themed cards to choose from by this company, I have the Waterloo 200 set and a WWII set (I am not at home and can’t remember the title, but they are very tame, nicely done With just general WWII black and white photography and not controversial at all, just historically based images, with a very WWII type card back and nothing that would offend). I bought both of my sets from the high street bookstore ‘Waterstones’, which obviously attests to their safe content. E-bay probably has a good selection.

Cheers Norm, great stuff. The Waterloo cards are a no-brayner, perfect for Napoleonic
'one hour skirmish'
games. As for WW2, at a pinch the set with adolf's melon on the back, courtesy of Time Magazine might well do?

Off the top of my head
The US reenactment site WW2 Soldier has a pretty good selection of items including playing cards(I've no recollection of the card designs only that they were an authentic reproduction.)
Oddly enough It's something that comes up quite regularly at shows.
I normally suggest sites like 'Zazzle ' which has the German eagle on (admittedly its the version that was used until 35 and adopted again in the 50's) with the tri coloured field
Which would compliment your union flag deck.
Another simpler alternative is contact them and explain your intended use and have a deck printed for each faction.
As most sites like this have a "add your own image " option.
I did it for a Christmas present a couple years ago .
Admittedly The paintings were for Celts and imperial Rome.
Mark.

I have created decks of cards for several of the games I run and have them printed here:
https://www.printerstudio.com
Very simple to create exactly what you want in various sizes/styles of card.

I've plumped for these, everyone can tell they're Jerry, but certainly not offensive...

Cards with the iron cross might be easier to track down?

Harry, you might get a set with the Balkan Cross, there were quite a few versions of it, none of which were overtly Nazi.
Tricky topic to navigate, think you're doing ok.

Sorted, courtesy of Zazzle. To be fair, if I could have got them I would have plumped for a deck with a swazzy in a white circle on a red background, as you can't get more nazi Germany than that. With these though I think you could just about do Napoleonic Prussians, so we can use 'em or both periods...
