Chinese martial artists
« on: July 21, 2006, 06:55:36 PM »
I know a few manufacturers do figures in 28mm that represent chinese fighters of one kind or another but as a Tai Chi player as well as a wargamer I've been on the lookout for a chinese figure in an authentic martial arts position - preferably in a Seven Stars position with both hands extended out in front of him, weight on the back or front foot (but not both!) and simply dressed in a cotton suit.  Does anyone do this kind of thing.  If not wouldn't some manufacturer like to do some authentic looking martial artists?

Many thanks for the reference.  A couple may be useable but most are in external postures not internal ones and apart from those balancing on one leg they all look double weighted which might be fine for wing chun or other external forms but just look wrong for any internal martial art.  I will keep looking.
