Wild West Vehicles

Righto!
Some time back I found an old Glencoe model of an 'automobile,' perhaps even a 'horseless carriage.'  Not sure that I like the wheels.  Anyone have better suggestions?  The driver is originally from a Wild West Poker set. Eventually he will become Presidente Madero, who was a well known spiritualist, with a handfull of tarot cards.

Then there's this "Tank Thing."  Too advanced for La Gran Revolucion, but perhaps useful for BOB?  It's a 1/35th Modolvan kit of a Polish tankette from 1939.  Built on a British Bren Gun Carrier it might just be the right size for a 28mm tank. The real kit has a large, square upper structure suitable for 2 crewmen.  I was thinking about making a styrene upper structure, with a turret (or two ?) made out of 'something.'

The spokes may be a bit thick, but trying to model scale ones would be a nightmare! Solid wheels wouldn't look at all right, so I think you're best sticking with what you have.

Once given a decent paint job it will look great. I'd love one as a VSF conveyance  :D

I am also liking that car. It reminds me of one of my favorite Westerns, "The Shootist".
