REVISED FORUM RULESAfter a long period of redrafting and consideration by the forum's owners and the moderator team, the forum's rules have been revised and updated.
There shouldn't be anything controversial in there - they are essentially an update of the previous rules, tidied up a little and with some out-of-date points and references removed.

This doesn’t buy any special rights or privileges – although supporting members do get a jazzy badge added to their forum profile.
Please note, it's been at least four years since the Prof last took donations, so the former Supporting Adventurer medals reflected people's generosity from several years ago!
All the old medals have therefore been removed to provide a new level playing field.
All new donations will henceforth receive the new 'Supporting member' medal.
All such donations, their amounts and frequency, are strictly down to the discretion and generosity of individual members. Every little helps, but we emphasise that
there is absolutely no expectation that people should or must contribute. It’s entirely up to you.
That said, where individuals or companies running hobby-related businesses regularly promote their products or services through this forum, a donation towards the running costs would be seen as polite. We would encourage wargames business owners to consider whether it’s fair that many ordinary LAF members choose to help towards the running costs of the forum, whereas some hobby businesses and traders who use the forum as a free shop window for their wares, see no reason to.
