Snake Plissken
« on: 22 July 2009, 12:21:21 PM »
Hasslefree call him Cobra - I choose to call him Snake ;)

And I hope to have him in action in a game or two of CombatZone in the near future! ('scuse the pun).

Painted for the Sheffield Irregular's July09 painting competition.  The theme is Hero - or in this case, anti-hero! Apart from the skin, he was an exercise in variation on a theme - that theme being Citadel Chaos Black! :)

And in case you're wondering, Snake really doesn't give a bumfudge about what any of us think ;) But I'd welcome your C&C :)

Before or after he told you so? ;)

That is a rather nice figure, I like the effect you achieved on the pants and kneepads. Judging from the base, he looks rather tall - would you say he´d fit in with Foundry Street Violence figures?

RE: Foundry Street Violence range, do you mean the "normal" ones, or the abnormally large mutant/Hightower you get in every blister pack?   ;)

Haven't measured him, (or painted him yet or that matter) but sizewise he seems to fit in well with the usual other ranges, including Foundry (of which i have a lot).

 :)

Basically the "average guy" models. Generally-speaking, I`m more after an "overall fit" (i.e. the general impression is okay).

I think he'd fit in just fine, except he's likely to have fewer mold lines ;)

Thats a great figure.  I am looking forward to getting my hands on one.

On the subject of Kurl Russell-a-likes does anyone know where I can order this miniature version of him?

After seeing the figure mentioned in this resurrected thread today I tried to buy him from the RAFM site.  Figure cost $4.95, shipping $15.00.  So I didnt buy it.

Does anyone know where I can get it shipped to Europe for any cheaper?

Too late, I am already infected by dozens of them - and yes Hauptgefreiter, I always order them from Battlefield Berlin. I can highly recommend their service!
