(AP2020) Thargor's British Airborne
« on: 03 March 2020, 01:50:20 AM »
With 2019's pledge almost finished (well kind of) I have set my sights on this year's project.

A British Airborne Force for a linked raid campaign.  As well as 6 sections of Paras, there will need to be support teams, some aircraft for the guys to drop out of, some landing craft and some Commandos to help with the pick up.

The campaign will involve Blood Red Skies, Bolt Action and Cruel Seas.

So far I have put together 5 sections, each of 10 men...I've even got paint on 2 of the sections (should be finishing them later today).  Pics to follow...

That sounds like a fun .  Having a battle effect the composition and or placement of forces in the following actions can make for a really interesting campaign.
Painted:  2025:539; 2024: 410; 2023: 37; 2022: 56

Sometimes WG plastics fail to convince...these are fantastic.  Great dynamic about the poses and the paint job is first class.

Love them😉

@ gamer Mac - They're a mix of Warlord Plastics and Metals.  Not sure about Section 5 as I got these "pre-loved", but I think they may also be Warlord.

@ syrinx0 - 1 more section to go.  I've got a 6 Pdr, but won't be using it in the campaign.

Well, it's taken a few weeks, but finally got round to finishing the last section of troops...then adding grass tufts to all of the bases.

Airborne Section 6
