STP miniatures
« on: March 21, 2020, 08:36:54 PM »
Has anyone seen the RCW boxed sets that Caliver have put on their Minifigs page?

Just wondering what they look like compared to other ranges

Here you can see the photo. I have these figures sold under the brand name "Beloe Delo" (this is a joint production of two companies).

Lovely figures; probably been asked before how do they size with Copplestones please?

They are fully compatible, except for the Kornilovsky Regiment Assault Company. In Kaliver Book - STP8 index. These figures are made in real proportions and are generally unlikely to be compatible with any other figures.

By the way - some of these figures are sold under the Leonid brand: http://siberia-miniatures.ru/index.php?manufacturers_id=51

My first couple of packs arrived today....so, first impressions

1. Kornilov regiment pack.

These are resin figures, multi-part (which though fiddly give you many options to personalise), and are genuinely some of the finest 1:56 figures I have ever seen.  Anatomically perfect, lean and mean, with tons of kit. Fantastic. Just would prefer the ‘heft’ of lead, but that’s a minor moan

2. White infantry - Prince Lievens division

These are metal.  Again, beautifully sculpted and animated, and anatomically very good.  However, the casting is not of a standard that does the figures justice, so while they are good, they aren’t half as good as the resin casts.

So, I’d pay for a world class caster to ensure these beautiful models get the best effect.

I have some of Leonids figures and they are lovely mixing really well with Copplestone, bought some time ago from Studio Siberia along with Poles to fight the red menace.
