Perfect painting!

Would you please, please, please make some videos!

I've been doing this for years and cannot make the straight lines and details you do.

Thanks for your kind words...even if I were set up for video I’m not sure what I could teach that isn’t  out there already....there’s some well made and concise videos on YouTube made by a very talented young woman under the name of Wargames, Soldiers and Strategy...I wish I’d watched them before I embarked on my Hoplites as her recipe for linothorax is way better than mine and as such I have adopted it for the Spartans I am currently working on ;)

As for straight lines and details....without hesitation I would say get a bigger brush and make sure it is best quality, the larger size actually affords you way more control over well thinned paint....for sure everyone has their own idea of what is best, personally I have never found better than Winsor & Newton Series 7....I do most of the work with a number 1, occasionally use a 0 and for very fine spots sometimes drop down to 00...having said that 90% I get done with the number 1.....whilst more expensive than similar brushes working with these Victrix plastics for the first time I have made the happy discovery that plastic is far kinder to sable than white metal ;)

Awesome indeed, very wonderful paintwork :-*

Shame on me for missing it!

Watched many of the Wargames, Soldiers and Strategy videos you mentioned, they are highly informative especially the older ones where she used a number of Foundry paints.

Great painting, i especially like the petasos details. And your fleshtones. I agree on the brushes, if taken care off a good kolinsky brush will last for long time. If you can get them, i would also recommend Rubloff master series. They are made in russia with the best quality hair and by cutting the middle men, they are much better priced than the established brands that you just pay for the logo. We are lucky here in Greece to have 2 vendors that offer them, i understand that in other countries these are not easy to find.
