Video explaining the NUTS & THW "Reaction" system
« on: 08 April 2020, 10:28:51 PM »
Something unique to all of Two Hour Wargames' rules, like the NUTS WW2 rules I prefer, is that they are not strict IGOUGO games.

Instead, there's a "Reaction" system that means your figures on the table will sometimes do things automatically, without your need to decide, based on what's happening.

In general the game flow is pretty straight forward, but because it's dynamic — when figures spot each other they start to act immediately instead of waiting for "their turn" — it can be confusing sometimes.

Here's a good short video from Ed at THW that explains the Reaction system. Hope folks find it helpful!

Play the game, not the players!
