Last of the Mohicans TV Series

I thought this was suppose to be on the new HBO MAX but I haven't heard anything since January.Anyone know anything else about it? Maybe it was delayed because of the virus.

When I saw the thread title I thought you meant the 1957 one that is currently running on UK Freeview 81 (Talking Pictures TV).
Stumbled across an episode last weekend and the current schedule has this for Saturday:

Sat 23 May 20   10:00   Hawkeye & the Last of the Mohicans   Franklin Story. 1957. Directed by Sam Newfield. Stars John Hart, Lon Chaney Jr & Stan Francis. After several people are murdered Hawkeye seeks the help of his friend Benjamin Franklin.

The reason you haven't heard anything is because the show is still in development : after Paramount dropped the project, a script was ordered by HBO Max earlier this year and is currently being written, but the series has yet to go into pre-production. So don't hold your breath : airing is at least a year or a year and half away at best, even if one leaves the CoVID crisis out of the equation.

I remember a few months ago seeing somewhere that a whole series of "Leatherstocking Tales" including The Last of the Mohicans was potentially going to happen, might this be what you're thinking of?
