To start with, I liked the idea of setting the campaign around this 50+ km long lake which is split by the Syldavian / Bordurian frontier:

Isn’t that lake full of sharks?

It is indeed! Though a freshwater shark that far north is a major discovery in elasmobranchology.  8)

Dare I put the Thompsons in a float-equipped one of these...? :



I'm sure it could handle a brace of 109's single-handed.  :-X

I have often thought about updating a Defiant with a Griffon engine and wing guns,I do have the Airfix kit...hmmm
