Proper job!

I think I'd find it hard to resist the temptation to put a face on the front of the engine, mind.  :)

As am I, I have one on the MDF pile although it has been assembled and I would love to hear of Matakishi's paint scheme. My intention is to have it on a rubber plantation in Malaya.

Looking forward to seeing how the train comes out.
Cheers,

Thanks all. The train's going to be basically black so it won't be that exciting.
Talking of exciting here's some thrilling railway track.

Do you have any half curves?
I was thinking that if you want to do the scene where they catch up with the
refugee train you will need them.
(really I just want to see your usual wonderful job done on the refugee train.)

I was going to get some curves but decided I didn't want to cut the track beds for them.
I won't be doing the refugee train, it's only there to show the massacre and I don't have any bodies. This isn't a recreation of the film, it's just based on the film. There will be lots of encounters that aren't in the film and some from the film (like the bridge) that won't be included in the game.

That looks real nice how much extra work do you do to make it look less like laser cut MDF? I've tried a couple of MDF kits but often I find I can't quite hide the fact its MDF, after painting, those blasted brown edges and connecting tabs just seem to stand out.
