Has anyone seen this lot, and know whether they have the rights to all the designs they offer?
I see some Wipeout racers in there, some obvious Battlemechs and some vehicles which look disturbingly similar to designs produced for an Antenociti kickstarter.

I don't believe they hold any official licence deals with pre-existing ranges. They grew out of the 3d resurgence in the Battletech space and offer generic sci-fi mechs and vehicles to suit a range of settings. There's been a bit of discussion of late in relation to a DMCA which resulted in BT designs being removed from online libraries such as Thingiverse. however as per the Gamesworkshop V. Chapterhouse case, shapes cannot be trademarked and they are free to continue their designs as long as they don't use trademarked terms to describe their product[/Gross_oversimplification].

They're a great mob to deal with and their products are absolutely top notch. I highly recommend them.

The only reason I haven't dumped a wadge of cash in their direction, is because of all the dodgy IP they have in their store... but it has been a REAL struggle.

I would dearly love to get some of their stuff but I just can't bring myself to do it... even though the quality is excellent and the designs awesome  :'( :'( :'(

If it helps at all, the newer Hardbots 6mm range is their original line and is not intended as proxies for any existing range: https://stratominis.com/product-category/hardwar/hardbot/.

The 'inspired by' the Macross/BT/MW range has been relegated to its own category: https://stratominis.com/product-category/hardbots_retro/.
