Hi all!

We would like to share with you our spanish company for IHMN: the Ist Amphibious Brigade of Cartagena, a military company with some steampunk technologies and a historical profile as the famous XIX century engineer Isaac Peral (who develop a electric submarine). All the background and the photos of this company are at our blog:

The background: a view of Spain in the IHMN setting. We start in the city of Cartagena, in the late XIX century hold the main shipyards of Spain and they proclaimed the "Canton of Cartagena" as a independent state (until this point historical facts!).

They are the Knightly Order Light Dragoons of the Kingdom of Brittania of Dystopian Legions. They are hard to found, because I think Spartan Games closed. I found them in a sold offer of a Spanish shop, but the shop closed six months ago...

Hi Doug, the "Peral" was the electric submarine made by Isaac Peral in 1887 (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spanish_submarine_Peral). The surname "Peral" is, as you wrote, "pear tree" in Spanish. I used the historical origin of this engineer (Isaac Peral), who was birth in Cartagena, to write the background of the Brigade.

Wow, these are great.  I must admit that my mind initially leapt to Cartagena de Indias in Colombia as the setting, and I thought of a repeat of the grand siege there (from the War of Jenkins' Ear), but in the late XIX Century with steam powered walkers and battleships on both sides!
