Great Blog 'The Shastapsh Chronicles'

I'm sure alot of people know this site. My question is 'does the blogger post here or does anyone know them?'
I just wanted to ask what rules they are using, I tried to leave a comment on the blog but I couldn't open my google account

I'm not sure, but it looks to me like they might be using Valor Steel and Flesh.

In Older posts they mention Space 1889 rules.  I am not sure if they read them for ideas or if they are using them to play. Great blog though.
