Delay in work on the SH range working on the Prussian limber horses and mounted officer, NCO and trooper, completed the Danes with 3 advancing figures to go with the firing line in the Kepi and frock coat.  Also pictured are Baden artillery ( I've gone off subject to do Baden troops in field cap/ picklehaube in great coat - 6 figures plus command and tunic with no backpack in field cap/ picklehaube plus command - 12 figures and finally 6 figures in helmet and backpack yet to convert to field cap - these are for the Baden revolt 1849).

Missed the most important part the 1842 Prussian limber, poor image of lovely limber unfortunately hidden by 2 limber riders - which is not quite correct, at the time they walked along side the limber, plus my photography is poor.

I love everything about this thread. A very cool project.

I have been toying with the idea of making a "what if" project for the first Schleswig war.

When the war broke out the was a rumor that the Holstein rebels had set the prisoners of Rendsburg free and that they were roaming up Jutland burning and pillaging. It caused a major uproar as the army was not present to protect them. So they formed local militias and made homemade weapons and meet up to do exercises. So they could be ready to repel the horde of prisoners from Rendsburg. In fact no prisoners were set free and also there were only around 30 not exactly an army. So it was all fake news.

It would however make for some cool wargaming scenarios. But I cannot really find any suitable minis for it. So for now it lays abandoned.

Update for the New Year

Currently working on Prussian artillery crew and guard marching to go along side the limber and artillery supply train, extra storage for the top of the limbers.  Command for the Danish line in 1848 uniform, extra Baden artillery crew.
On wagons getting Danish limber, British limber and Prussian supply wagon to go with planned ammunition limber and old style wagon.

Busy painting at the moment.
