In the process of painting up the Bavarian battalions, still need to put a wash on the figures and base up

Just finish the last three Bavarian line infantry battalions, this makes in total 4 battalions.  Next will be the Jagers, same figure but with blanket roll around body and plume on side of helmet, then the cavalry.  Artillery will be delayed awaiting artillery gun master followed by limber to finish off.

They look cool, but what is the logic in the basing? 2s, 3s? 4s?

I use units of 24 so use bases of 4, 3, 2 and 1, for my Schleswig Holstien range I'm currently at 12 pages of individual figures and have too many for a 16' by 6' wargames table, I have 20 battalions of Danes and haven't started painting the 1848 uniform change figures yet.  I'm currently painting Bavarian Chevau legers to go with the foot and finishing off the figures for the 6/7th Prussian battalion. For field features I've done a wooden pole with a bushel of straw tied to the top to show troops gaps in the hedges and from John at take cover scenics 1200mm of Danish hedging (you cann't have enough).  Still got some of the Southern Germans states to do, Swedes and I'll need lots of civilian's

Quiet over summer, models wise just moulded the Danish 3pdr, 4 wheeled limber, basic 2 wheeled limber, M1834 84pdr light howitzer - see picture of howitzer.
Also moulded Prussian munitions wagon attaches to limber.  To mould Saxon casson and will be doing the 24pdr mortar.

For my wargames table I've had lots of hedging made with wicker fencing, bushes etc, gate ways and poles with bushels of hay on marking entrances through hedges and for village houses vegetable gardens
