Four miniatures from Mystic Spirals, three of which were limited edition pirates, two of which were the last two he had in stock. Really got lucky there!

I'm especially glad I got the pirate lady in the revealing dress. She'll make a perfect Zingaran heroine of the Hyborian age. I also mean to be turning that pulp femme fatale into a Hyborian age woman of questionable virtue.

These are all quite slim, small sculpts, similar to Hasslefree in style. The femme fatale has a really small head.

Well I hope you're happy! Now I won't be able to use her :-[ :-[ :-[

She has a knife behind her back, by the way.

Or any female heroine in a Zorro-type setting. It really is a very versatile figure. Would make a lovely gypsy girl, too.

Shame it's a limited edition, and now sold out. I'm just glad I got one.

Some nice stuff from Eureka, USA.

Victoria Lamb's Imperial Noble.

1920's Women

American 'Dancehall Assistant'

Ophelia Phondlewell

All of the above are at least 30mm or above.

Napoleon at Arcola

The Napoleonics are 28mm.  They are a good head taller than Foundry but are a good match for the newer Perry's, if a bit heftier.  Since most of the Perry's I have so far are officers, wearing tighter clothing, that may not be a fair comparison, but height wise, they're fine.  Sorry, I don't have any other Napoleonic figure lines to compare.  The bridge is resin, by the way.

As I was sitting sitting in darkness regretting that once again that I could not make Historicon and that a very good friend had just passed away at 49, I received two beautiful minis from Orctrader, Artizan's  Rick and Capt "Citroen" .  Rick is painted in a black tux so I think that he is not really Rick but the earlier bad boy Bogie. I had bought the William Powell "Thin Man" mini from Orctrader before and so I had to feed my 30s movies addiction. These were just as nice.
Got to kick at the darkness till it bleeds daylight.
