"12th August 19-

Received a package with a Bengal postmark. Inside was a scribbled note and another package. The note was in the familiar hand of Professor Duckworth-Lewis, but his fevered scrawlings were just meaningless gibberish. Some kind of code perhaps, or had he finally lost his wits? As I went to open the package suddenly I hesitated. I was filled with a strange foreboding and unwillingness to continue, and put it down on the table. It was then that I noticed there were two words written upon it, again in the professor's hand..."

It's me neck I'm worried about.

She's nearly finished, which is good going for me, seeing as she only came today. Photos soon.

I received from Warlord Games the beautiful Highlanders.

They are IMHO the best Highlanders on the market.

Got a package from ChaosOrc(online retailer)
2 boxes and 2 blisters(12) of GW LOTR Easterling Kataphrakts
2 Boxes Haradrim Serpent Riders(just horsemen not snake riders or anything)
2 Versions of the hero Suladan the Serpent Lord
Using these for victorian fantasy types. The Easterlings are great sculpts and because the horses have some seperate legs I was able to make so many variants of pose between horse and rider that there are only two doubles out of 12. :-*
Then I opened the serpent riders, two poses cast on the horse >:(
All in all they are great sculpts and fit in well with my Foundry Indian and Brigade Games Mamelukes.

I couldn't resist Foundry's last bargain with the 50% off any book with free shipping.
So I got 4 packs of Darkest Africa shields (its a bit annoying that you have to buy the spears and shields seperately).

Though they have arrived a few weeks ago I think the Reaper miniature range for Pathfinder RPG is a real treat. Very sweet miniatures. I got my hands on one Hook Mountain Ogre and the Valeros figure. Both exceelent quality and a lot of work to paint because of wonderful details. I'll post some pics when I've finished painting them (obviously in the fantasy thread section).

Please do... I have been eyeing the Pathfinder and Warlords ranges for some time now (I signed up to the newsletter from Miniature Giant because of the Chronoscope range, which I'm sort of addicted to....)
Ask at the LAF, and answer shall thy be given!

From TheMightyFlip:

- Plastic Wolverine
- Warzone Mishima Samurai
- Hasslefree Dionne (b) with coat
- Mongoose GoMC1 Female Psi Judge
- Shadowrun (Ral Partha?) female psionic

And these 2 - does anyone know what they might be? The small black primed one is a male sci-fi trooper, 23 mm to eye, and the power armoured female would be about 25-26 mm to eye if she did not wear high heeled armour boots....

Think the male sci-fi trooper is a competition piece from Hasslefree in their 'Sculpt a Kev' from a while ago.

Got the Dwarf Thunderlord from Avatars of War - am going with the double-barrelled flintlock for his left hand option as the great axe looks too OTT!

OK, thanks. Given its weird size I think it might end up as some kind of top-of-computer-screen-deco... mounted on a 20mm slotta filled with sticky-tag.

The female could be useful for a lot of things. Her left shoulder pad sports a heraldic lion, btw... Could she be from Fading Suns, or something like that?
