Will need some SEALS now.
Em dezembro de '81
Botou os ingleses na roda
3 a 0 no Liverpool
Ficou marcado na história
E no Rio não tem outro igual
Só o Flamengo é campeão mundial
E agora seu povo
Pede o mundo de novo

Well for no other reason than a visual prop to hum, sing or whistle Belinda Carlisle and the Go-Gos’ ‘Albert the Seal’. A song whose title many still under labour under the mistaken belief was ‘Our Lips Are Sealed’. I suppose the lyrics were distorted by their insistence on singing it from an open car.

A chap or chaps with a Stoner LMG or one of those China Lake pump action grenade launchers would be pretty cool.

Stoner made and ready for action. Just checking what type of Levi Jeans to dress them in.  ;)

Hull printed.  Just the railing, throttles and splash vane to go as they didn't fit.

Found a pic with a RCL on the back of one...

Not found any drawings for the MSSC.  Find me some and I'll take a look

It would seem actual drawings are near impossible to find - Apart from rough dimensions of 36' long and a 13' beam - The rest is pretty much guesswork...

This person did make a rather plausable 3D render: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/oOx0gm

There should be a more detailed account in Darryl Youngs "The Element of Surprise: Navy Seals in Vietnam" But my copy is somehow lost.

Ah well..

Classic 501's would seem right, though I wonder how often in practice they wound up looking like 'fashionable' ripped jeans?  lol

Levi's 501's seemed to be the choice - Sometimes dyed black, but often the dye would wash out after only a few insertions, so most just left them blue or dark blue.

Update on the MSSC - From Darryl Young's book (found it)

Length 36 feet
width 12 feet
height 9 feet from top to bottom (including radom) - Photos will help detemining the actual height of the crew compartment.

It's a lot harder working from photos sadly plus there is a real risk of getting it very wrong!
