Chinatown, my Chinatown
« on: 17 September 2020, 09:40:48 PM »
Since the pandemic started I've working on building my Chinatown.
Last night I finished the outside of the Golden Pagoda Hotel. It's the only playable on the inside building I've made, but I'm kind of tired of working on it, so the innards will have to wait.
For the first time, I set the entire town up and played on it for a while. I'm really pleased with how it came out.

Tereydavi, the cork tiles represent my 2’ x 2’ play area, the buildings are not connected to it.
Everything is made out of foam core and the thin cardboard that comes between the cat food tins.
Here are some pics of the inside of the hotel. I’ll probably finish it sometime soon.

Thanks everyone.
The large room at the front of the second floor was supposed to be the premium suite, but then I added the third floor room mainly because I wanted the roof. I haven't decided if it's a penthouse or a ball room.

Those looks awesome.  How sturdy are the stairs?  They look like they might crack in hit too hard.  Maybe add a banister for some extra structure.
