Grates, grills & manhole covers
« on: September 18, 2020, 08:56:41 PM »
Hey,

Can anyone point me to a good source for rates, grills, manholes covers and other street furniture? Although I'm after 28mm, I'm working on a vaguely sci-fi terrain thing so am happy to go up to 1/35 scale. I'm just a bit out of the loop on what's available.

If anyone sells something close to those long drain/gutter pavement covers, that'd be particularly cool.

Thanks!

Fenris has a selection of manhole covers.  I have also photo etched ones out there somewhere.   For grills like the one shown you might look at Plastruct or some of the other manufactures.  The have small scale ladders that might fit the bill.

The model railway trade has plenty of stuff available in 4mm scale (1:76). If they seem too small for you, you could try 7mm versions (1:43 or 1:48 depending on where you're from). Some useful pointers here:
