Once again, superb work, and beautiful figs, Nick. I particularly like Davy Crockett, Colonel Castrillon, and Isaac Freeman, but they're all awesome figs!

Did the sailor actually carry his volley gun at the Alamo? I'm know the Mexican-American War fairly well, but I'm not as familiar with the Texas War of Independence stuff.

The Nock volley gun is a bit of fanciful fun. Its of course possible that he may have had one, but equally unlikely lol besides it was good enough for Richard Widmark in the Alamo... ;)

What can I say, other than SUPERB, best yet, full of character and these are far and away the best I've ever seen for the period.  :-*

There is also a chap in the recent Alamo film who I think uses one (one of D Crocketts fellows) Watched it last night to get me in the mood for getting the figures :D

It may have got panned at the cinemas, but its probably the most faithful version of events. The costumes were very well researched as were the characters. Billy Bob Thornton is my favourite Crockett. Even better than Fess Parker. :)

Hmm, haven't seen that one yet. After so many recommendations from such respected film critics it seems to be a "must-see"  :D

Yet again wonderful figures. They really look as if they belong in the mid 19thC Americas, not just modern folk dressed up in period costumes. I really do intend to have one of every character and multiples of the rank and file, but you keep releasing them quicker than I can save up. Don't slow down on my account, however - I'm sure I'll catch up soon  lol

I never actually got around to buying the LOTOW "Alamo" supplement. It's looking harder and harder to resist now that you are going to cover the whole period  ;)

Fanciful or not, I likes me that gun;)

I haven't seen the newest version of the Alamo. Need to do so at some point.

These are all excellent additions to your growing range. I will be looking forward to getting them as they are available. I am also just starting my own Alamo project so this is great timing. Thanks for doing these.

This range is fantastic Malamute!  I love all the releases you have done thus far!  Any chance you will do a nice spanish priest?  Foot and mounted version?  Everyone needs a good spanish priest! lol

"...Then we will be starting on the mexican army..."   8)   :-*

I see money...lots of money...flying over the ocean...   lol

I really need a transfer  o_o to the UK :-*...right, like that's happening!  ::)

Certain managers would like to transfer me to...(um,  ;) euphemisms apply) Afghanistan/Iraq...or hotter places.   :)

Guess that means I'm doing my job correctly.   :-X

I guess I need some "other manufacturer's" Spanish/Mexican Army figures to compare sizes.  Even alternate reality patrols/garrisons need lots of individual sculpts.  Unless you plan about 20 different figures/poses?  Are you planning that many poses?  I can only wish!   8)

I need to compare my Artisan banditos to your Presidials when I get back to the house.
