I haven't received a shipping notice either. Looking at the responses on the Kickstarter page, it looks like Lon is shipping the US orders - or at least some of them - first. Europe will be next in line I guess.

If you swing by Paul Hicks's Facebook page, you can glimpse some of the next Brigade Games FIW figures - namely some Compagnies franches de la marine in advancing and firing line poses.

They can be made out in the top right hand corner of the pic showing a WW2 Mosquito model. Here's a blurry close-up of the lot :

Chaps, don’t want to depress you but I received a parcel today from the US. £41 Customs Charge with no real explanation. I had to pay before Parcelforce International would deliver.

 Bummer!

I bought figures via Brigade Games' recent AWI Kickstarter and I was taken- aback by the cost of shipping and taxes.

It seems that shipping costs from US to UK have risen substantially in the past few months. A £41 import tax for a package that had its value on the paperwork stated as $100 seems horrendous.

 Caveat Emptor!

If there's one thing I've learned from this kickstarter (which was great in many cases) in future I wont get swept up in all the excitement. I'll wait till its on general sale and hopefully take advantage of the $15 International shipping. This KS set me back $96 shipping plus whatever customs will be. But like I said I wont let it get to me. Just a lesson learnt. I'm still as excited for new toys  lol

I’m not sure it is a post-Brexit issue. I sense a tightening of already existing rules. I’ve heard horror stories of import duties for several years, particularly for stuff from the US. I guess that would be true as the US is probably the biggest market/supplier for Wargames products outside of the UK.
