Back when this was running, I wasn't sure if I needed more FIW figs.  Well one can always use more; I wasn't sure which ones particularly I might want to add.  As I've been working on that corner of my lead mountain right now, I went and had a look at Brigade's offerings.

They did have some that would help with particular fill-in needs, and fortuitously the late-backers option was still open to jump in.

I’m in Canada, but to be fair, I did asked Lon to put a blister that was missing from my last order with the figures from the Kickstarter and I was thinking that could explained the delays.

Michel: how long will it take you to paint that lot?

For the time being, these are going straight into the lead mountain as I need to order more figures to complete units (my Béarn regiment needs an additional couple of packs to reach its intended size of 30 rank and file plus separate command figures, and i'll also need one more pack of Canadian militia).

I remained deliberately reasonable with my Kickstarter order (about 80 miniatures all told) in order to evade customs taxes - successfully as it turned out - and I'm not planning a large FiW project anyway. So I'll wait until the range gets officially released and Lon has one of his periodical sales to order eight more packs, which should not happen until well into 2021. In the fullness of time, I'll also add from the upcoming second BG FIW Kickstarter as I want a small battalion of compagnies franches de la marine as well (these are already under way and can be glimpsed in the background of one of the pics on Paul Hicks' facebook page).

Lon has just posted an update on the KS page : you may have seen it already. The bottom line is that he is still ploughing through his list of backers and has dispatched about three quarters of the orders so far. In a sense, this particular Kickstarter was perhaps a little too successful for its own sake.

Mine arrived yesterday. Must say miniatures are cracking. Paul Hicks is an artist! However at first I thought I was only missing 1 pack on closer inspection im missing 3! All the freebie packs for pledging over $235. I'm missing the Family frontier pack, the British officer with sisters pack and Huron! I'm sure Lon will sort it out.

But I believe its like Arthur said maybe it was a little to successful. also the current way the world is theres going to be delays on alot of thing too.
