Mutant Chronicles WARZONE Battle Report: The lost Farm
« on: 25 October 2020, 11:04:54 PM »
Today I played my second game with the old Warzone first edition.
The scenario was again simple: two forces that fight until one surrender or it is defeated.
Overview of the board:

Here the lists we played (I was the brotherhood player):

BROTHERHOOD (9 models), 500pt

"ArchBishop Arles" (Keeper of Art) w/punisher, and Nemesis w/grenade launcher (AP), command helmet, staff of casting,
force shield. Art Aspects: kinetics, elemental, exorcism (110pt)

Pilgrim Executioner w/power shields, command helmet, combat medic unit, power stabilizer, Art aspect: Mentalism  (83pt)

"Crimson Furies" (Fury Elite Guard) Squad (179pt)
2 Furies w/Deliver and Nemesis w/grenade launcher (AP), Great Coordination, Long Legs, Pain Resistant (114pt)
x1 Sergeant w/Deliver and Nemesis w/grenade launcher (AP), close combat training, Great Coordination,
Long Legs, Pain Resistant (65pt)

Pilgrims Squad (128pt)
4 Pilgrims w/Volcano and Nemesis

CYBERTRONIC (6 models) 501pt

Vince Diamond (150pt)

Cuirassiers Squad (351pt):
4 Cuirassiers w/AR3000 and CSA 404 (260pt), Chasseur Hero w/LMG (71pt)

The two forces move with caution for two turns, using often waiting and hidden actions.

Both the forces open fire and he pilgrim executioner has the change to fly and then charge.
One of the fury is defeated, but two attilas are destroyed and another is damaged.

A fury charge Vince diamond an the damaged attila, the attila is destroyed while vince receive two wounds.
The cybertronic player decide to surrender and then the Brotherhood player is the winner.

Internal computer of Vince Diamond: DANGER, DANGER! Analysis: 75% probability of being defeated by enemy forces.
A strategic retreat is recommended.
Vince Diamond:  "Cybertronic forces: retreat!"
