Projekt X press release
« on: 19 August 2009, 10:15:53 AM »
This should answer a few questions  :D

Press Release
Scarab Miniatures has acquired the 1/48th scale Projekt X and World War Two military figure lines from North Star Military Figures Limited.
Both ranges can be obtained and viewed in our web store www.scarabminiatures.com
Distribution of these ranges to retail stores will continue to be handled by North Star Military Figures.
The miniature line for both ranges will be supported by new releases and a full background for Projekt X will be developed. This background, along with rules for table top gaming and other supporting material using the miniatures will be contained in a series of sourcebooks and PDFs covering both Projekt X and historical World War Two actions.
You can find out more by visiting our Projekt X page www.projektx.scarabminiatures.com

Scarab Miniatures Limited stock 1/48th scale plastic kits and will be adding terrain, buildings and accessories during the coming months. All of which enable you to bring your table top or diorama to life for a complete wargaming or model making hobby experience.
Our Great War ranges will not be neglected. We have new releases for the French already in development.
Our thanks to Nick Eyre at North Star and Richard Ansell for ensuring the handover has all gone smoothly and thank you for your interest and your custom
Kind regards
Rob Broom

I am the proud owner of Orc Trader's She Wolves and they make great pieces on any Weird War battlefield.  Hope to see the line expand in the future.

Although these are larger scale than I'm using, I'll definitely be picking up the She Wolves to paint. (But then, they could always be Valkyries I guess.)
We haul ours to kick theirs.

I have started some topics on the scarab px forum and on the PX yahoo group for suggestions, but first up (as a customer requested it and it was a good idea) will be a gestapo officer, and I am then going to talk through with the scupter about some other options. I do want us to do some more Allied forces. Some female Brits and Americans might be popular, looking at the above posts  :D

Initially most of the commissions will work as either PX or WW2, and then we will start to tap into the really more distinct models.
