Fright Knights- KOW/WHF
« on: 01 November 2020, 02:25:42 PM »
Finished my Zombie Dragon yesterday for Halloween. He has been sitting in my 'to finish' pile since 2017.

Wings are magnetized to his sides, as is his tail.

He is made from cast bits from a GW dragon my brother gave me ages ago, along with some leftover Bretonnian knight bits and a KOW head.

Happy with how he turned out, he looks great on the shelf!

Paint scheme is inspired by this image I found on the internet of Basil the Batlord of lego fame:

And what is a wight lord without his skeletal underlings?

I loved putting together this Kings of War skeleton kit. The skeletons oozed so much character, and I had plenty of bits to choose from.

Might do more of these guys someday. Also loved the bone dog:

I have only used these guys in Mordheim so far (barring the dragon who is a new addition). Here they are in action versus my savage orc warband and the denizens of the jungle!

These are great. Thanks for the posts. Old school looking skeletons there.
