I know they'e been mentioned before, but I've only just seen them, as Netflexible has just arrived in our pokey little seaside resort.
I've watched several films about Vikings, all pretty good, though one was a remake of
'A Fistful of Dollars', with pointy cutlery standing in for Colts and Winchesters. I also gormed the last (I'm cogitating?) series of
'Vikings' when Ivar the Braynless slots everybody and sticks his tongue out.
Moving on a tad there was
'The Outlaw King', Robert the Scotchmen kicking much shite out of our lads... funny enough I enjoyed this enormously. Just about the entire cast of
'Braveheart', hamming it up again enormously, although you only see Mel Gibson's leg, which is nailed to a tree.
Lastly, and in every way leastly,
'The King'... what a load of bollocks that turned out to be!
Some sulky, hung over, glowering teenager throwing a mardy strop for an hour and half. Then a French bloke straight out of Renee's cafe winds him up and they fall out. Meeting up in a muddy field hundreds of tin men indulge in a pervy bout of mud wrestling, winding up with the Frenchie falling over and getting filleted. The sulky teen gets lumbered with some equally miserable looking French tart, who in my 'umble opinion really gives him summat to be sulky about!
