Easy to learn rules with nice solutions to deter wargamers acting like wargamers.
In FFofL a man's gotta do wot a man's gotta do, and that means doing it out in the open on main street! But there's always one who'll shoot yer first and then scuttle into cover, like a low down rat, up a drainpipe. Try it in FFofL and you get an automatic scatter gun blast, from the owner, on entering their premises.
Simple and elegant way of deterring skulking about and backshooting!

Don't forget the Bigger Battles rules.
An easy way to turn a skirmish game into a bigger affair   
(5 figurines per player become 5 units and a leader army) Just need to paint more troops.....
