No but i’m sure I’d be happy to add some more. I will add the Perry Irish at some point in the new year too.

As I painted them primarily for the Wars of the Roses then Billhooks for small games, Hail Caesar, Impetus or To The Strongest for big games. Other options include Warlords of Erehwon, Songs of blades and Heroes or Lion Rampant.

Footsore are also talking about expanding their new Barons War rules back to the Dark Ages which will be another option once those go to print.

 I have quite a few for my Scots wars and really love them, need some more lights and archers very soon.

A couple of years ago I decided that all my 28mm figures would be singly based and I use sabots from warbases to give me the unit sizes I want, that way I can play skirmish games and big battle games as I like.

Paul, I agree with using sabots and individually based figures. I used to base all my ancient/ medieval figures on Impetus size multi bases. I still use Warbases Impetus trays but with individually based figures. Yes it may cost £20-30 in Sabot bases but that is small beer compared to over £200 for figures plus shield decals and wire spears. The flexibility to re-use the figures with other rulesets is well worth the expense.

I'm the opposite, I like my mini's to 'talk' to one another on multi bases. I think it's the residue of playing WAB for so many years

When they were originally commissioned by David Imrie for Claymore Castings they were meant for around the time of Otterburn. Basically their are two types of Ribalds. A more generic (Scots?) type and an Irish type......
