This is a really cool project with a great background story.  The A-Team really cracked me up...

Hahaha! Love the humour. My favourite scene in "Bananas" is when Wody Alan is told to become a master of camouflage. His camouflage is so good that an enemy soldier pees on him in the jungle!

This is a fantastic project, very inspiring indeed :)

How were the Baker Co APCs to put together? I need to get some M113s for my UN troops and I'm undecided between these and TAG

Nous diso no a la samba de la revolucion!
Si la revolucion arriva:
Finito! Mickey Mouse,
Finito! Coca-Cola,
Finito! Elvis Preeesssley!

Viva la Republica de Banano
Viva los Estados Unitades,
E viva el presidente, Augusto Rrricochet!

Banana o muerte

(cue the Star Spangled Banner)

(Okay, I realize that what I've just written makes absolutely no sense to like 99% of you guys, but believe me, in the context of that wonderful Republica de Banano setting, it's a perfect match. If you don't believe me, ask Calimero, I'm sure he knows what this cryptic reply is all about!).

Yours truly,

Sir Dryden

EDIT:
Found it on YouTube. It should clarify things a little. Believe me, it fits to a T! I should warn you guys it may contain stuff that could hurt some sensibilities, but nothing major. Also, it's in French (and some kind of weirdo Spanish-sounding lingo). Enjoy.

Haha! wow, I'd almost forgotten about this. It was overtaken by some other projects and got left behind. I only just noticed people have been posting on it since last month...

I've painted a few Soviet infantrymen for use with the rebels as communist paratroopers, amongst other things; I'll post a picture of them next time I'm home.

Thanks for the continued praise, I feel like I've a reputation to maintain now.

To be honest, I'm not sure I can fully recommend the Baker M113s. Whilst nice figures, they have quite large mould line issues. If you look closely at my photos, you can make out an irregular line running the length of the hull, and it took hours to file it down to just that.
I told you so. You damned fools.

don't tell me somebody offers a woody allen miniature....

Yes. Check the Khurasan Miniatures website for their "New York Intellectual" figure.

And for further filmic inspiration, Richard Dreyfus in "Moon Over Parador". Highly recommended! Jonathan Winters as the CIA Station Chief...
