   Strictly speaking, this dude isn't from the future, since it was set in 2019! However, this is a fantastic sculpt by Charlie Earl (sadly it's a private commission) and he has to be shown somewhere.

Oh, I hate big areas of plain cloth like that! It takes ages with layer upon layer upon layer of thin paint ever so slightly lighter than the one before. The bottom of the coat is a bit of a dodge with a dark wash built up to make it look a bit soggy and/or dirty. I often do that with long cloaks and stuff like this, because it doesn't seem right to be putting highlights on it somehow.
