Veni Vidi Vici transfers
« on: February 02, 2021, 05:26:48 PM »
As seems the wargaming world is heavily getting into the Barons War period, the decals supplied by Footsore Miniatures and even their supplier, are in short supply.

One option that we in Montreal are using is the Veni, Vidi, Vici waterslide transfers.
Their delivery was very quick and the transfers are very good, the owner even advised me how to overcome the 'silvering' effect - only apply transfers AFTER varnishing the surface as this stops air being trapped underneath the transfer. Lesson learnt.

Wargamers do it on a table.

Yes, varnishing before decals is a very good tip. And you don’t necessarily need to varnish the whole figure, you can just spot varnish the areas you want to apply decals too. Then do an overall varnish of everything.
