Lucid Eye’s Ziggurat range has some nice figure that work well as general although not cheap. There may be an EU stockist of them?

I've been eyeing that range for a while now, but... man, the price tag! They're beautiful sculpts from what I can tell (if a bit fanciful), but they're approaching like $9 per figure here in the US  :o
"Nice try, history; better luck next year."

The Lucid Eye figures are well beyond normal 28mm in size. Heroic sized models.

Thanks again, I might try the Aventine figures.

In my gaming club we are playing alot of Saga, witht he newest edition Age of Hannibal, the Greeks has options for different fractions of Greeks, and there is need of a mounted Warlord, hence the request for a mounted figure :D (Didnt know about them most often NOT fighting from horseback)

Im Working on converting some Victrix Greeks to create the mounted Warlord :) and have ordered the footsore Immortal Gods from a German stockist :D
Playing or wanting to play: FoW, Swordpoint, Saga, Donny Brook, Sharp Practice, Soldiers of God, Trafalgar, Check your Six, Hail Caesar, Pike n Shotte, Black Powder and much more. main interests in wargaming periods is between Iron and Black Powder.

:-[ Well, I can say that I have now experienced it myself.

Late january I ordered for 52,50 euro from Footsore. Today I received notice that it arrived, but that I have to 39,05 euro taxes. It's ridiculous and makes impossible in the future to order from the UK. It's a random amount that is added to it. I expected to pay 21% tax on it, so around 11 euro. But nope for an unknown reason it's increased to 39,05 euro.

I am sad about it as the UK has some of the greatest miniatures companies. Footsore, Claymore Casting, Victrix, Perry's.  :(

eBay may be your best bet.

Or a very small order that is under the taxable limit.

to avoid those costs you can place an order at a european trader

like https://www.philibertnet.com

he has some perry, victrix, fire forged ...

may be the miniatures compagnies could consider working with that kind of traders more

next to the tax you have also customs duty
