Yeah, the advantage of the Ottoman's eclectic mix of troops from the middle east, north Africa and the Balkans is that you can make use of an eclectic range of miniatures and periods (with the odd head swap here and there  :) )

Nice paintjobs! How do you choose what flags to use? I have  that same TAG(?) general on my painting desk right now! My take on some re-purposed Perry Miniatures is over here: click here

First rate paintjobs and an excellent choice of figures in action, unique vignettes each one of them! Congrats!

I just use generic “Islamic” flags of the period (or more likely earlier). There is a lot of contradiction in reference sources (online and osprey books and such). One source stated that the Ottomans only used horse hair Tug banners, then in the next paragraph described the role of flags and banners in the Ottoman army and showed a photo of an embroidered banner captured at the siege of Vienna.... so in a fog of contrary opinion I opted for what I thought looked good for the period... and banners always look good on the table 😊 I reserved the Tug for my cavalry which I think is the source of that style (golden horde origin).

An old Fakir.... to inspire the Arab cavalry.  Only when giving the models a coat of varnish, did I notice I put the flag on upside down, illiterate fool that I am. So I guess this makes him a silly old Fakir.
