Hi,

I have decided to do a little project for Vietnam . It’s nice to have a “small” number of figures to deal with compared to some of my larger projects. I have started out with some Gringo40s USMC . So this was the test one for paint recipe ‘basing etc. A really great figure to paint . I have another 50 or so in the wings. I will be doing an 8x4 - and up to a 12x6 table in due course

Very nice. I am highly tempted by the Empress and Gringo ranges. Do you know if they are compatible? I’ve asked on another thread for rule suggestions?

The Gringo figures are slightly larger but nothing too excessive, there are a number of comparison photos on this site, check out Mick in Switzerland ’s excellent painting guide, there are some images within that.
