Back to Great Northern War with Swedish Cavalry

Beleive it or not its been over 18 months since I painted anthign for my Great Northern War collection, so I dusted offf the horses for my Swedes and painted these guys up, all Warfare Miniatures, more photos on the blog see what you think.  http://gapagnw.blogspot.com/

Lovely brushwork! The GNW has never drawn my interest, but your models make me wonder.

Thanks very much. A lot people consider it a side show with the Swedes vs the Russains. Blue vs Green. Its much more interestign and far reaching with some really lovely lookign armies to consider. The mix of redcoated Saxons and Armoured Polish cavalry is particularly striking.

There is a lot to recommend it.  The Swedish tactics make for interesting games and the Russian Dragoon practice of mass mounted fire adds to the fun.  I came very late the the GNW myself but don't regret it at all.
