Quite capable of 'silly' noises & often do so.

A story I heard: In Star Wars Episode 1, fight scenes of Ewan McGregor / Obi Wan Kenobi had to be post-synchronised, because he couldnt stop making lightsabre noises.

Personally I don't make stupid noises. I do make sensible and appropriate ones, however (e.g. a short whistling "whuww" sound for a flying arrow, a "sssthuunk" for an axe swing connecting, or a "zafffffst....oh bugger" when my wizard ran into the middle of a group of enemy soldiers and then failed to cast the spell "Destructive Sphere").
